January 2022 Edition

It's that time again! January bassin' for me means we've escaped the Minnesota winter and headed south like a flock of geese to the Sunshine State. Florida is one of my favorites states in the country for bass fishing and though fishing can be feast or famine depending on the weather, the potential for the biggest bites of the year most certainly present themselves on any and every cast. Preparing for these bites and sometimes more important, preparing to get these bites out of the super dense cover is the key. You can't bring a knife to a gun fight and this analogy fights perfectly when targeting bass in Florida. There's staples I use every year and that i always have on my deck this time of year.
