Late Fall Mille Lacs Lake GIANT Smallmouth Bass
Quick fish catch of one of my absolute favorite ways to catch a smallmouth bass. Bibs and hoody weather. Casting gear with paddetail swimbait. One of the best fish-catching combos in the game.
Setup includes a G Loomis 892c JWR IMX Pro Rod, Shimano Bantam G Reel, 12lb Shimano Mastiff Fluorocarbon, 3/8oz 4/0 Outkast Tackle Goldeneye Swimmer Head, Keitech Easy Shiner.
Location was on Lake Mille Lacs in northern Minnesota. Late October. Fishing steep drops around shallow rock ridges as smallies were moving shallow for the evening bite.
